They e nsure the best connection between your speaker cable and your receiver unit with these open-screw banana plugs. Ocelots feature an open-screw connection to accommodate various wire gauges. All of our speaker plugs will accept up to 12 gauge wire. There are 3 TYPES of banana plugs we are selling in our store. 1. Gold plated 4mm single tip: 24K gold finish for corrosion resistance Accepts bare wire or spades connectors Black/Red color coded rings for polarity identification 2. 4mm nickel shinish single tip: 4mm banana plugs with black / red thermoplastic cover nickel plated finish for corrosion resistance and long lasting use Screw type compression connection no need to soldered 3.
