The crossovers feature quality components, and tweeter level adjustment. The tweeters are Focal's unique inverted dome design, which gives excellent imaging and wide dispersion angles. This speaker kit sounds very dynamic and powerful, rich bass and smooth detailed highs, much better than anything else in this price range. The power rating is a genuine 80 watts RMS, so they can play quite loudly without distortion. The high sensitivity of these speakers means that they will run and sound good when connected to a standard radio/CD head unit. All speakers benefit from an amplifier, but few sound good without one.
